Aubrey Plaza's husband, writer and director Jeff Baena, died by suicide on Jan. 3 at the age of 47.

Mike Rinder, co-host of "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath," died on Jan. 5 from esophageal cancer. He was 69.

Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary died on Jan. 7 after a battle with bladder cancer. He was 86.

Former child star Rory Callum Sykes died on Jan. 8 at the age of 32, a victim of the Palisades Fire, according to his mother, Shelley Sykes.

"Soul Man" singer Sam Moore died on Jan. 11 at the age of 89, due to complications while recovering from surgery.

"General Hospital" star Leslie Charleson died on Jan. 12 at the age of 79.

"Twin Peaks" and "Blue Velvet" director David Lynch died Jan. 16 at the age of 78 following his emphysema diagnosis.

"Moonshiners" star Kenny Law died on Jan. 14 at 68.

Award-winning British actress Joan Plowright died on Jan. 16 at the age of 95.

"Days of Our Lives" actor Francisco San Martin died from suicide on Jan. 16. He was 39.

Musician John Sykes, the guitarist for Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and more, died at the age of 65 after battling cancer.

"Bling Empire: New York" star Lynn Ban died on Jan. 20 weeks after emergency brain surgery from an Aspen ski accident. She was 52.

Garth Hudson, the last surviving member of Canadian-American rock group The Band, died on Jan. 21 at the age of 87.

Singer and actress Marianne Faithfull, best known for the song "As Tears Go By," died on Jan. 30 at the age of 78.

"Main Cabin Masters" star Matt "Dixie" Dix's wife Ginna died unexpectedly at the age of 48, on Feb. 1.

"Annie Hall" and "Serpico" actor Tony Roberts died on Feb. 7 at the age of 85, following complications with lung cancer.

"The Facts of Life" actor John Lawlor died at the age of 83. Lawlor "passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2025," per his agent.

The death of Biff Wiff, actor in "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and "I Think You Should Leave," was confirmed by his management company on Feb. 14. He died after a battle with cancer.

"Full Metal Jacket" actor Kevyn Major Howard died at the age of 69 on Feb. 14.

"Deadwood" actor Peter Jason died on Feb. 20. He was 80.

"Pee-wee’s Playhouse" star Lynne Marie Stewart died on Feb. 21 at the age of 78.

Singer Roberta Flack died on Feb. 24 at 88 years old.

Michelle Trachtenberg, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star, died on Feb. 26 at the age of 39.

Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead in their home on Feb. 26. Arakawa died from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, while Hackman died of heart disease.

Prince Frederik of Luxembourg died on March 1 from complications associated with PolG mitochondrial disease, a rare genetic condition. He was 22.

"Baywatch" actress Pamela Bach died by suicide on March 5. She was 62.

Simon Fisher-Becker, who appeared in "Harry Potter," died on March 9 at the age of 63.

Bruce Glover, known for his role in "Diamonds Are Forever," died March 12. He was 92.

"Little House on the Prairie" actor Jack Lilley died "peacefully in his sleep," on March 19 at the age of 91.

George Foreman, heavyweight champion, died on March 21 at the age of 76.

Denis Arndt, actor in "S.W.A.T." and "Basic Instinct," died "peacefully in his bed" on March 25 at the age of 86.

Richard Chamberlain, known as "king of the miniseries," died following stroke complications on March 29. He was 90.

Val Kilmer, "Batman Forever" and "Top Gun" actor, died on April 1 from pneumonia. He was 65.

Jay North, who starred in "Dennis the Menace," died on April 6 at home in Florida after battling colon cancer. He was 73.

Blondie drummer Clem Burke died on April 6 at the age of 70, following a private battle with cancer.

"Queen of Versailles" star Jackie Siegel's husband, David Siegel, died on April 5 at the age of 89 following a battle with cancer. Her sister, Jessica Mallery, died on April 8 at the age of 43, following an accidental drug overdose.

"Lassie" star Joey Vieira died on April 7 just minutes shy of his birthday. He was 80.

Nicky Katt, "Dazed and Confused" and "Boston Public" actor, died from suicide on April 8 at the age of 54.

"Willow" star and "Upstairs, Downstairs" co-creator Jean Marsh died on April 13 at the age of 90 due to complications from dementia.

Amber Kelleher-Andrews, a Hollywood matchmaker who worked with Eva Longoria and David Spade, died on April 13, following a battle with cancer. She was 56.

Child star Sophie Nyweide died on April 14 at the age of 24.

Game show host Wink Martindale died on April 15 at the age of 91.

"Knots Landing" star Lar Park Lincoln died on April 22. She was 63.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" star Jiggly Caliente died on April 27, at the age of 44, just days after experiencing a "serious health setback" that resulted in the loss of her leg.

"Floribama Shores" star Kirk Medas died at 33 on May 2, due to liver failure after spending two weeks in the ICU.

"The Wire" and "The Sopranos" actor Charley Scalies died on May 1 after battling Alzheimer’s. He was 84.

Denise Alexander, best known for starring in "General Hospital," died on May 9. She was 85.

"Walking Tall" star Joe Don Baker died on May 7 at the age of 89.

"Cheers" star George Wendt died peacefully in his sleep on May 20. He was 76.

Phil Robertson, of the television show "Duck Dynasty," died on May 25 at the age of 79.

Kool & the Gang's Michael Sumler died on May 25 at the age of 71, after a fatal car crash.

"Chucky" actor Ed Gale died on May 27 at the age of 61.

"Boardwalk Empire" and "Manifest" actor Devin Harjes died on May 27 following complications from cancer. He was 41.

Loretta Swit, who played Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan in "M*A*S*H," died on May 30 from natural causes. She was 87.

"Desperate Housewives" actress Valerie Mahaffey died at the age of 71 on May 30 following a battle with cancer.

Jonathan Joss, known for his voiceover work on "King of the Hill," was shot and killed in Texas on June 1. He was 59.

Sly Stone, the frontman of Sly and the Family Stone, died on June 9 after a long battle with COPD. He was 82.

Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson died at the age of 82 on June 11. His immediate cause of death was listed as respiratory arrest, while sepsis and cystitis were listed in his autopsy reported as contributing factors.

Food Network star Anne Burrell died on June 17 at the age of 55. Her death was ruled a suicide.

"Hee Haw" star Gailard Sartain died on June 19 in his home from natural causes. He was 81.

Lynn Hamilton, known for her roles in "Sanford and Son" and "The Waltons," died from natural causes on June 19 at the age of 95.

Bobby Sherman died on June 24 at the age of 81 after sharing he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer earlier in 2025.

"Dukes of Hazzard" star Rick Hurst died on June 26 at the age of 79.

"Fantastic Four" star Julian McMahon died on July 2 following a battle with cancer. He was 56.

"Reservoir Dogs" star Michael Madsen died from cardiac arrest on July 3. He was 67.

"Pretty Little Baby" singer Connie Francis died on July 16 at the age of 87.

"The Cosby Show" star Malcolm-Jamal Warner died from drowning while in Costa Rica on July 20. He was 54.

Rock icon Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22. He was 76.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died after suffering a cardiac arrest in his home on July 24. He was 71.

Jazz legend Chuck Mangione died July 22 at his New York home.

Paul Mario Day, the original frontman of legendary British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, died on July 29 at the age of 69.

Country music icon Jeannie Seely died on Aug. 1 following complications from an intestinal infection. She was 85.

"Walking Dead" actress Kelley Mack died on Aug. 2 at the age of 33. The actress had been fighting cancer: glioma of the central nervous system.

Loni Anderson, star of "WKRP in Cincinnati," died on Aug. 3 at a Los Angeles hospital following a "prolonged" illness. She was 79.

Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband and renowned talent manager Brandon Blackstock died on Aug. 7 at the age of 48, following a three-year battle with cancer.

Danielle Spencer, "What's Happening!!" actress, died on Aug. 11 at the age of 60. She had been battling cancer.

Longtime "General Hospital" actor Tristan Rogers died on Aug. 15, following a battle with cancer. He was 79.

Terence Stamp, who played General Zod in "Superman," died on Aug. 17. He was 87.

Retired municipal judge and reality TV star Frank Caprio died on Aug. 20 following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 88.

"The Sopranos" actor Jerry Adler died on Aug. 23 at the age of 96.

Rick Davies, the vocalist and keyboarder of British rock band "Supertramp," died on Sept. 6 after battling multiple myeloma for years. He was 81.

"Alice" star Polly Holliday died on Sept. 9 at the age of 88.

Hollywood legend Robert Redford died on Sept. 16. He was 89.

Grammy-winning songwriter Brett James died in a plane crash on Sept. 18. He was 57.

Ed Williams, known for his roles in "Police Sqaud!" and "The Naked Gun" movies, died on Oct. 2. He was 98.

John Lodge of The Moody Blues died on Oct. 10 "suddenly and unexpectedly," at the age of 82.

Iconic Hollywood actress Diane Keaton died from pneumonia on Oct. 11 at her home in California. She was 79.

Grammy-winning singer D'Angelo died on Oct. 14 after battling cancer. He was 51.

KISS founding member Ace Frehley died on Oct. 16 after suffering injuries from a fall last month. He was 74.

Sam Rivers, founding member and bassist of Limp Bizkit, died on Oct. 18. He was 48.

"9-1-1: Nashville" actress Isabelle Adora Tate died on Oct. 19, just days after making her debut on the show. The actress had had a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, and died at the age of 23.

Michael DeLano, seen in the shows "Firehouse" and "Rhoda," died on Oct. 20, at the age of 84.

Actress June Lockhart, known for her roles in "Lassie" and "Lost in Space" died on Oct. 23 from natural causes, at the age of 100.

Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay, former vocalist with the Grateful Dead, died on Nov. 2 after a cancer battle. She was 78.

Diane Ladd, Hollywood actress and Laura Dern's mother, died at the age of 89 on Nov. 3.

Oscar-nominated actress Sally Kirkland died on Nov. 11. An update shared on her GoFundMe set up by her friends on Nov. 7 said Kirkland had entered hospice care weeks after suffering injuries from a fall.

Singer Todd Snider died on Nov. 14 at the age of 59.

Jackson Browne's son, Ethan, died suddenly on Nov. 25. He was 52.

Legendary guitarist Steve Cropper died at 84 on Dec. 3.

Country star Raul Malo died on Dec. 6 following a battle with cancer. He was 60.

Actress Wenne Alton Davis was struck by a car on Dec. 8 while crossing the street and was pronounced dead at the hospital. She was 60.

"Confessions of a Shopaholic" author Sophie Kinsella died on Dec. 10 at the age of 55, following a battle with brain cancer.

"Pulp Fiction" actor Peter Greene died on Dec. 12 at the age of 60.

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were found murdered in their home with multiple stab wounds on Dec. 14. He was 60.

"General Hospital" star Anthony Geary died at 78 on Dec. 14, following complications from a scheduled operation.

"Buck Rogers" star Gil Gerard died on Dec. 16 after battling aggressive form of cancer. He was 82.

George Clooney's sister, Adelia "Ada" Zeidler, died from cancer on Dec. 19. She was 65.

James Ransone, known for his role on "The Wire," died by suicide on Dec. 19. He was 46.

"The Middle" star Pat Finn died on Dec. 22 after a battle with cancer. He was 60.

The Cure guitarist Perry Bamonte died on Dec. 25 at the age of 65, following a brief illness.

Brigitte Bardot died at the age of 91 on Dec. 28.
