I'm back in the saddle for this edition of Monday Screencaps all refreshed and freezing this morning in NW Ohio where it was 53 degrees when I sat down to pump out this content. Yes, 53 degrees. It'll be 76 or so today, which should get a reaction out of the Texans and Floridians who, this time of year, want some of this weather like we want their weather in February.

Let's dive right into weekend observations:
• Credit where credit is due. Guys, get your relationships ironed out. Wyndham Clark announced to the world at The Masters that he's dating Michigan State grad Emily Tanner and his career not only rebounded in 2026 with a U.S. Open win, but he just pocketed the BMW Championship and announced that Tanner is moving in with him.

As the BMW was getting started, Tanner revealed on Instagram that she was packing up her California apartment and moving to Arizona to live with Clark. "Where are you moving???" Clark commented on her post as he was in the middle of the BMW. That's called a power move. Alpha behavior.
After finishing 2025 ranked 46th in the world, Clark is up to 5th with one more tournament to go before he and Tanner go nuts traveling through the fall and winter.
• What is with the prices of flowers this late in August? Home Depot is still trying to sell pots of impatiens for $15 that will be dead in six weeks. Over at Lowe's, similar plants are $4. Why are we looking at plants right now? Mrs. Screencaps is running a six-week test with impatiens to get an idea of what she wants to do in 2027. It's like bringing up prospects from Triple-A for the playoff run.

• If you have the money to spend, buy Stihl battery tools (#notsponsored; I've used my money to buy every tool I own). After spending eight hours Sunday cutting, edging, shredding, digging and ripping at things in the yard and in the garage, my advice to younger readers is to invest in high-quality tools. I can't overemphasize enough how my life around the house changed when I upgraded our lawn tools.
• That said, I would our Ryobi battery pruner will cut off a finger just as well as a Stihl pruner. Save your money and buy the Ryobi.
• I have to give Screencaps Jr. credit. He took it upon himself to go on a personal training run yesterday. After returning home, he revealed it was a five-mile run – 6:30 avg. over the first 2 1/2 miles, then he ran three hill climb gassers, then ran 2 1/2 miles home with a 7:30 avg.
Then I made him pick up dog crap so I could get the yard dialed in for his birthday this Friday.

Kinsey: I ran this through Google Gemini, who estimates a bar would need to bring in an average of 15-18 extra patrons and get those patrons to drop $25-$30 per person to break even. I'll dive in a little deeper to see how Linda justifies the cost and what the ROI is with the Ticket on her TVs.
