'Gutfeld!' panel guesses woman's crime from mugshot
Greg Gutfeld presents a mugshot to his panel on "Gutfeld!" and asks them to "guess the crime," eliciting funny and unexpected responses. The panel's lighthearted guesses sharply contrast with the grim reality of the woman's alleged crimes.
The sun is out, the Canadian wildfire smoke suddenly doesn't exist anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains & it's time to pump out a fresh edition of Wednesday Screencaps for those of you who are just trying to pass the time until your next week off before football season.
Let's get rolling with Kay Adams, the football broadcasting influencer, self-admitting to turning in one of, if not the worst, Heisman poses in influencer history. She was at Fanatics Fest over the weekend and was hired to do some chat with famous athletes, including Joe Burrow.
I'm not a huge Kay Adams fan like OutKick's Zach Dean to the point where I'd take a bullet for her, but I get her appeal. Kay turned 40 in April and is one of the only women in the broadcasting game who seems fun, hasn't pivoted into a yoga instructor and doesn't tell guys that they're perverted for finding her attractive.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP IN AND DEFEND CODY RHODES' AWFUL, TERRIBLE PLACEKICKING PERFORMANCE

For those of us in our 40s, Kay is a unicorn. I get it. We're used to being called pigs by the COVID-era, Sarah Spain types who ruined the sports/pop culture world for about six years. There was a brief period right there before 2020 where the Spain types ruled.
Thankfully, those days are history.
"Wanna see the worst Heisman pose of all time? 🙋🏻♀️what was I trying to do here? i need to take a lap," Kay cheekily wrote on her latest Instagram post.

– Rory remembers: Sad news as someone from a baseball family who spent childhood summer mornings watching Baseball Tonight on repeat.
I'm 99% positive I ran into him in an airport a few years ago, but he looked like he had spent the previous day in the sun drinking a bottle of scotch. Thought it best to leave him alone.
Kinsey: My hope is that Ravech loses the rug (allegedly), shaves his head, grows out a bad boy, Hogan NWO-style goatee and gets busy living life. Ravech is in his early 60s. I have to believe he's set financially. Now it's time to let loose.
– S.E. emails: You did not do your research . The director of the Dolfins cheerlears is a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. KaShara was the point for DCC.
Kinsey: That's true, I did not investigate the background of the Dolphins cheerleader management team. Guilty as charged, but this now explains why the Dolphins' program is suddenly being operated, at least on social media, like the Cowboys. This is great news for consumers. A rising tide lifts all cheerleader programs, S.E.
– Drew in Katy, TX says: Add Cracker Barrel to your "Doomed Restaurant Chain" list. The CEO crawled her way aback out of the hole that she created last year. Now she is starting down another one.
From WSJ: "Cracker Barrel Raises Guidance After Maple Street Biscuit Divestiture, Sale-Leaseback Deal" " The company said it had entered into the transaction with an institutional real estate investor for 26 of its company-owned Cracker Barrel locations.
"The deal generated net proceeds of about $77 million, which the company said it plans to put toward debt reduction."
This is like selling a house that you own debt free in order to pay off credit card debt so that you can start making house payments again. This has failed miserably for other companies (See Google AI results on the topic below the stock price chart.) The company shares moved up. "Shares in Cracker Barrel jumped 9% to $58.20 in after-hours trading on Monday." Now she will do more of this. It will be a downward spiral . . . just give it enough time . . .
Kinsey: I need Screencaps financial analysts to weigh in here. Even though the stock price has rebounded, is the writing on the wall that Cracker Barrel needs to be added to my "Restaurants That Won't Exist In 5 Years" list?

– Jim T. in San Diego opines: Wow - do the powers that be in the baseball-first SEC not know what a bad look their threats to break away from the NCAA is? The last time the South seceded it didn't turn out all that well.
Plus, if they break away, no more College World Series - which, realistically, is the SEC's only solid chance to claim a national championship these days ...
– Chris W. in California is living through this right now: I feel for Brad S. and the locust like scourge of having a bunch of teenage boys over at your house. Especially during the Summer we have an ever rotating group of my sons' friends hanging out at our house, all of them in the 10-14 year age range.
I'm pretty certain you could feed most small armies for less than what it costs me to keep food in my house. A $120 Taco Bell bill is one of the many reasons I make sure we have enough stuff so we don't have to order out very often (And when we do it's either pizza or blessedly, because we live in California, In-N-Out which is still the best bang for your buck in all of fast food), but I have both a Sam's Club and Costco membership because they are the only ways to keep the horde sated. When there's a sleepover I dread waking up the next morning to see the remnants of the blitzkrieg on my pantry and fridge, and I know no matter what I'm going to have to run out to get more eggs and bread (teen boys eat SOOOO much bread) to make breakfast happen.

Yes, it's a pain, yes it's expensive, but I look at it the same way I do how much time and gas money I spend on driving my kids around to all of their activities, it's just a sign I have healthy, active boys that aren't couch potatoes, kids that are going out and getting stuff done. If my grocery bill has to look like a second mortgage as a result, that's a small price to pay.

That's it for this random Wednesday in July. The first two NFL training camps open today. Carolina and Arizona will battle on August 6 in the Hall of Fame game. Guys, we're so close, but, as always, we do not waste summer days. Go out and make today count.
