Nicole Kidman has plenty of thoughts about the season finale of "Lioness."
The hit CIA/military show created by Taylor Sheridan aired its season three finale on Sunday after a gritty and dark ride focused on the kidnapping of Joe (Zoe Saldaña).

The rescue mission went down in episode seven, and the eighth and final episode of the latest season – titled "The Unraveling" – finally revealed who was pulling the strings the entire time.
It wasn't the Russians, Iran or Ukraine.
It was Aaliyah Amrohi.

Nicole Kidman reacts to shocking "Lioness" season finale.
Kidman, who plays Kaitlyn, spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the finale and touched on one of the most shocking moments:
The murder of Oleksandra, who ultimately was completely innocent of any wrongdoing.

"She absolutely has a moral code and conscience, but she always weighs it up against cost. At the same time, she’s not mired down in regret. She’s a move-forward person, in the same way that when people play sports, you don’t get stuck on a previous point. Because otherwise she can’t do her job; she’s rendered inactive and vulnerable then," Kidman told the outlet when asked if she thinks her character feels remorse over the killing.

Kidman also touched on what might be in the future for her character, and told the outlet, "There’s a lot. We’ll see where it goes, if we get to make a fourth season. It’s just so rich that there’s so many different paths that you can go down. The first season, you’re establishing everything, and the beauty of getting to do multiple seasons is that it becomes more deeper, richer, more complex. Taylor is such a strong writer that he can take things anywhere."

A fourth season hasn't been officially announced yet, but signs certainly seem to indicate it's going to happen.
